Jack Campbell wanted to be standing in his crease to acknowledge the expected timeout tribute to his Toronto years on Saturday night.
Campbell, 31, will have missed both meetings against the Leafs the past 11 days, dragged down by a career worst .882 save percentage and just 17 wins despite the luxury of the NHL’s No. 1 offence.
