A man on probation has been charged in a fraud scheme that Toronto Police say targeted international students from Korea.

The victims were told that he would have a family member deposit funds into their accounts to make repayment, cops said, adding he also allegedly gave them cheques with insufficient funds. On Thursday, Man Seok Marvin Choi, 50, was arrested and charged with fraud under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, and fail to comply with probation.

Police say there may be more allege victims and ask anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS .
