Forward Together and Point Blank Creative at odds over supposed payment plan
“In mid-October 2022 Forward Together assured Point Blank that payment would be made promptly and provided four cheques as payment for the outstanding amount,” the claim states.
“On or about 26 October 2022 Point Blank attempted to deposit these cheques but the cheques were dishonoured by the drawee bank based on non-sufficient funds. Forward Together has refused or neglected to make full or any payment in respect to the outstanding amount.”The response states that when Forward Together provided Point Blank with the four cheques it also asked them not to cash them and instead offered a payment plan that was rejected by Point Blank.
Forward Together claims it offered another payment plan in February 2023 and made a payment of around $2,000. It denies having refused or neglected to make payment.In March, it was revealed Stewart’s team also owed money to a small-business in Burnaby called TownRent that did not receive $3,000 for desk, chair and folding table rentals. The owner said he billed Forward Together just after the election and was told he would be paid in 30 days.
