PORT HOOD, N.S. - A former Cape Breton West Islander was named to the Maritime Junior Hockey League team of the week on Tuesday for the week ending Feb.
Goaltender Jack Milner of the Truro Bearcats was part of the Eastlink South team of the week after posting a 2-0-0-0 record along with a 2.00 goals-against-average and a .950 save percentage.
Meanwhile, former Cape Breton Eagle Lucas Canning was also recognized on the division's team of the week. He had three goals and six points in three games for the Bearcats during the week.
