The City of Belleville Homelessness Summit is set to take place at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on April 13.
The event, run by the City of Belleville, Hastings County and the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, will host local stakeholders and community partners. It will consist of presentations from Hastings County and the Canadian Alliance of Homelessness, interviews with people who have experienced homelessness and a community panel discussion on what it takes to end homelessness.Each partner will voice their concerns, thoughts and ideas to help set goals and targets for finding solutions to end homelessness.
The City of Belleville says an opportunity for public comment will be made through an online survey at a later date.
