Initial project is the restoration of 1942 Canadian army truck for railway museum in Capreol
The federal government has announced that Cambrian College will be granted $1 million over a five-year period for several research and development projects.
"This funding will allow for Cambrian College R&D to undertake several new projects with non-profit organizations, where a research component is present. The initial project will include the restoration of a 1942 Canadian Armed Forces truck. The project will include research of historical documents and manuals to redesign and manufacture a portion of the truck .
Lapointe said the money was an investment for the students by providing them with practical experiences.
