Crews responded to the fire on Mississagi Bay Road on Monday morning
The Office of the Fire Marshal, along with other agencies, is investigating a fatal structure fire that occurred on Monday morning on Mississagi Bay Road In Huron Shores .Full text of the release follows:
MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES - One person has been located deceased after a structure fire on Mississagi Bay Road in the Municipality of Huron Shores. On Feb. 6, 2023 shortly after 9 a.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment responded to the fire, along with the Mississauga First Nation Police Service and the Huron Shores Fire Department.
Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police authority. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Ontario Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit information online, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
