Hundreds of WestJet pilots demonstrated outside Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver international airports Monday ahead of a possible strike that could start as early as May 16 — the Tuesday before the May long weekend which kicks off the summer travel season.

On the other hand, WestJet counters that its “mainline pilots are amongst the best paid pilots in Canada.”
