Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) chief Nicanor Faeldon is in trouble with the Senate – again.
Senators hit the BuCor director-general on Saturday following reports that he signed the release order of convicted rapist and murderer Antonio Sanchez.
“I don’t know what to say sa galit ko! Faeldon earlier denied having signed a release order for Sanchez despite the latter’s family claiming that the rape-slay convict was scheduled to be freed last August 20.
Sotto, who sought a review of the deduction of Sanchez’ jail sentence, said the controversy calls for an overhaul of the BuCor.
