As Metro Vancouver contends with the messy aftermath of Tuesday's snowstorm - and overnight rainfall - TransLink is cautioning public transit users things are not back to normal Wednesday morning.
In particular, the Metro Vancouver transit agency indicates the delays will largely impact riders travelling in and out of Richmond, Surrey, South Vancouver, and New Westminster. Indeed, some commuters crossing Metro Vancouver Tuesday night found themselves snarled in lengthy traffic delays due to accidents resulting in the closure of the Alex Fraser Bridge and George Massey Tunnel along with several arterial roads. Some motorists reported being stuck for upwards of seven or more hours making trips between municipalities.
