The alert, which was issued just after 7 p.m., said RCMP responded to a firearms incident at a residence on Dowie Road in Sipekne’katik First Nation. Shannon Yvonne Hudson, 27, is five-foot-three, 119 pounds with a slim build, shoulder-length light brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light sweater and a red hat.Just before 10 p.m., Nova Scotia RCMP posted to Twitter to say the emergency alert issued in Indian Brook, East Hants, Colchester County and the Halifax area had been cancelled. The police force did not give a reason why or say if Hudson had been arrested.
