The win will help potentially bump up the time frame for a cottage build for the winner
Kenneth 'Kenny' Moore of Cobalt, Ont. has won $104,787.50 in January's Sault Area Hospital 50/50 draw.He eventually found out thanks to an email he received after his shift.
"No way. You can't believe how happy I am! This is great news," Moore's reply to the good-news email said. While he doesn't have a direct connection to the Sault, Moore said he has fond memories of the city from when he played hockey. Moore has some property he has been dreaming of building a cottage on. What was a five-year plan for it might be bumped up a little bit thanks to the win.
“It was looking like a five-year plan, but with this I might be able to start construction this summer," Moore said.
