A second Delta man, Akash Rana, 25, was also charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence on March 1, said York Police. Including Rana and Singh, six suspects have been charged for the assault. A seventh person, Sukhpreet Singh, 23, of Mississauga, Ont., remains at large with a Canada-wide warrant in effect for his arrest.Article content
Hajtamiri was abducted from a relative’s home in Wasaga Beach, Ont. on Jan. 12, 2022 by three suspects dressed in fake police gear. She remains missing. Her former boyfriend Mohamad Lilo was arrested and charged last year in relation to her kidnapping.
