Concordia University apologizes for mishandling 1969 Black student protests
In 1969, protesters marched and waved signs during the 13-day affair. One sign reads, "After 10 months, this is it." The protests began 10 months after six Black students filed a complaint against a biology professor, alleging that the low grades he gave them were due to discrimination.
