Clorox is recalling Pine-Sol scented multi-surface cleaners in lavender clean, lemon fresh and mandarin sunrise scents.BRAMPTON, Ont. — Clorox is recalling some of its Pine-Sol brand cleaning products in Canada due to possible contamination with bacteria.
A date code number identifying the recalled products can be found on the bottle between the label and cap. Products with date codes that begin with the prefix A4 with the first five digits 22249 or lower are included in the recall. Clorox said about 7.6 million units of the affected product were sold in Canada from January 2021 to September 2022.
The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes or through a break in the skin. People with weakened immune systems or external medical devices who are exposed to the bacteria face a risk of severe infection that may require medical treatment.
