The poll ran from Oct. 11 to 18 on the Citizen’s website.
A small majority of local Prince George Citizen readers voted that the City of Prince George shouldn’t take back workers put on leave and facing termination for refusing to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
A total of 315 local participants said “no, it’s a small basic requirement for workplace safety,” while another 249 participants voted “no, it’s not fair to the employees who followed public health orders.” Meanwhile, 223 participants voted “yes, requiring employees to be vaccinated isn't fair,” and another 192 participants voted “yes, restrictions and mandates have ended almost everywhere else.”
