“We have a chance to kind of come to this space and do right early on in our careers as law students, to really make sure that this never happens, make sure that Cindy’s memory is truly about Cindy and not all of the injustice that happened to her as her family wishes it to be. For Kaye, Gladue is remembered as a fun-hearted, loving and beautiful woman who protected many in her life from violence.
