Summer calls for a chilly beer and patio party
Real summer weather is on the horizon for Burnaby this weekend — and what better way to bask in the sun than with a couple of chilly beers?Dageraad Brewing is celebrating its ninth anniversary of Belgian-style brewing this weekend — and it’s inviting the public to don their best summer patio clothes and head over to its anniversary party.
The small-batch artisan brewery, just a short walk from Production Way SkyTrain station, brought the owner’s love for Belgian beer culture to British Columbia. It has grown to be one of Burnaby’s favourite breweries; it has earned numerous awards over the years including being crowned the Best Brewery of the Year by Canadian Brewing awards in 2018.On Saturday, May 13 from 1 to 7 p.m.
Burnaby’s new vibrant Dino taco truck Tacosaurus will be on-site for the party, along with Vancouver’s Between 2 Buns serving delicacies. The entry for the beer party is free, but to help skip the drink line, you can purchase your first two tickets by visiting Eventbrite website for a speedy start to the anniversary party.
