Alumni from CASS will compete in a hockey tournament and curling bonspiel to help ring in the school’s 50th celebrations this weekend
Central Algoma Secondary School is getting ready to kick off the first part of its 50th reunion spectacular this Family Day weekend with an alumni hockey tournament, a curling bonspiel, and a dance in Thessalon.
In an email to SooToday, reunion organizer and CASS alumnus Nigel Good says he can feel the anticipation building heading into this weekend. Also the athletic coordinator for extracurricular sports at CASS, Good explains the reunion is an incredibly momentous occasion for the school and all of its alumni.
“Having these events help foster those relationships and continue that feeling of community and pride for each other.”
