Eagles Glenn of Cavendish golf course will be under new management in the upcoming season.

In a March 10 release, representatives of Mill River Resort announced it had purchased the 18-hole course.Geoffrey Irving, president of Mill River Resort, said in the release the company has no immediate plans for any major changes at Eagles Glenn. “We’re going to make some minor improvements in the short term. We’ve been lucky to acquire a course with proven and experienced staff,” he said. “Longer term we’ll be looking at several potential projects to improve and enhance the property for an even better guest experience.”
Opened in 2002, Eagles Glenn is a par-72 championship course located on more than 300 acres in Cavendish, said the release. It consists of 10 par 4s, four par 5s and four par 3s.Cody McEachern is a business reporter with the SaltWire Network in Prince Edward Island. He can be reached by email at
