The Municipality of the County of Inverness is receiving $71,000 in funding and Cape Breton South Recruiting for Health will receive $74,287 for community health-care recruitment and retention programs. FileINVERNESS, N.S. — Two Cape Breton organizations are receiving provincial funding for community health-care recruitment and retention programs.
The money will also be used to recruit and retain health-care professionals in the area and create a new program to encourage students to consider a career in the profession. Cape Breton South Recruiting for Health includes representatives of the County of Richmond, the Town of Port Hawkesbury and community partners.
