The Islanders posted a 4-4 with the Flyers on Sunday and were defeated 4-2 by the Whalers on Saturday. Both games were played at Centre 200 in Sydney. Meanwhile, the Glace Bay Miners suffered a pair of defeats, losing 6-3 to Dartmouth on Sunday and 6-2 to Sackville on Saturday.
