The Cape Breton Capers men's soccer team won their sixth straight Atlantic University Sport championship in November in Sydney. It was part of the highlights from Cape Breton University athletics in 2022. JEREMY FRASER/CAPE BRETON POST. - Jeremy FraserBoth Capers teams will host the AUS championships this year. The tournaments will be held Oct. 26-29. Cape Breton's men's team will also host the U Sports Men's Soccer Championship, Nov. 9-12, at Ness Timmons Field.
The AUS also announced the fall schedules for its rugby, football and cross-country seasons. The 10-week football season will begin on Aug. 26, followed by the rugby and cross country seasons starting on Sept. 9.
