“I had of bunch of Wings posters and a Gordie Howe signed hat trick photo, which is pretty cool. It was a photo of him with a hat covering three pucks and that’s the one I keep pretty close to me.” “I had great memories of The Joe and countless games we played there,” added Lockwood. “It wasn’t the prettiest place in the world, but obviously, the history. It was like a presence when you walked in there. When I was growing up, and at school in the morning, the excitement was like: ‘We’re playing at The Joe!’”
