Canucks fans will be tuning into Sportsnet — and Rogers Arena will keep its name — for at least 10 more years.

It extends a 24-year broadcast partnership between the Canucks and Sportsnet, a division of Rogers Sports & Media. The radio deal launched five years ago with Rogers property Sportsnet 650 is part of the extension. “We are pleased to extend our partnership with CSE for another decade to bring hockey fans all the on-ice action, and to support the Canucks’ incredible work in the community,” said Tony Staffieri, CEO of Rogers Communications. “We share the Canucks’ commitment to help youth in sports, and we’re honoured to invest in and work alongside this storied franchise.”
“This extension will support our pursuit of a winning culture and delivering a world-class experience for our fans and giving back to our community in so many meaningful ways,” said CSE president of business operations Michael Doyle in a statement. On top of regional broadcast rights, Sportsnet is the exclusive national rights partner of the NHL and will show all 82 Canucks games on TV, radio and streaming on SN Now.
