The character is Marvin, played by Prince Amponsah, who received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for best supporting performance in a web series this year. In 2012, a fire in Amponsah’s apartment left the actor with burns covering more than half his body. Eventually, his right arm was amputated above the elbow; his left arm, just below., up for four CSA awards, is a smart intergenerational comedy that explores the comforts and awkwardness of sex.

Thompson’s Rare Theatre Company is dedicated to creating theatre with marginalized communities. In 2012, Thompson directed a collectively created show starring adults withis a drama about trauma to the psyche.
