The Halifax crowd is “going to hit a whole other level and we can't wait for it,” Canadian defenceman Clarke says.
HALIFAX—Players on both sides are looking forward to the game, a chance to one-up their closest rival in the Canada-United States semifinal Wednesday at the world junior hockey championship.
“The crowd has been strong all the way through. But they're going to hit a whole other level and we can't wait for it.” “Every person in the hockey world is going to be watching this game,” U.S. captain Luke Hughes said. “It's a huge stage. The crowd's momentum, they can use it, we can use it. And, you know, we've been in big crowds before.”
“I have a lot of great friends and family in Canada, growing up on the outdoor ice, playing in the GTHL,” he said.
