Calgary man accused of human trafficking, wanted on Canada-wide warrant yyc
Officials with Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams’ human trafficking unit say Tevin Laramee-Watson is charged with exploiting women for financial benefit from sexual services, as well as assaulting and threatening one of his victims. They say the 30-year-old man recently lived in Calgary and has ties to Grande Prairie, Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver.Sign up to receive daily headline news from the Calgary Herald, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.
“We want to ensure this perpetrator is located and placed in custody and we are asking for the public’s help in locating him. Our greatest concern is that more women, in different cities, could be victimized,” said Staff Sgt. Colleen Bowers of ALERT Calgary.
