Coronato, listed at 5-foot-10 and 185 lb., won the USHL’s scoring title during his draft year, averaging almost a goal-per-game. He totalled 38 tallies — including eight game-winners — and 72 points in 68 career appearances at the NCAA level. “He’s been able to score at every level. Now, he’s moving up to the best level so patience and time and all the rest of it is going to be required here. But those are the things that stand out — a real competitive kid, thinks the game really well, possesses a really strong shot and is a responsible player. This isn’t just somebody who gets excited from the blue-line in. He plays 200 feet of the ice, but he just has that ability around the net to find the back of it.
