Police are warning the public about an incident at Deer Lake Park last month, when a man allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments to three women and then made a gesture like he was cutting his throat.
Burnaby RCMP has released a police sketch of a man who allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments and a threatening gesture to three women at Deer Lake Park last month.
But there was no physical contact, and the victims were able to safely walk away from the suspect, police said. While the sketch is based on the suspect description from the Oct. 13 incident, police said investigators are also looking into four other incidents where a man with a similar description was also alleged to have made inappropriate comments to women near Deer Lake Park.Burnaby RCMP is working to determine whether the incidents are linked.
