A new bridge for the area is anticipated to open to pedestrians and cyclists in the spring of 2023, the City of Ottawa says. “Ever since the construction started, we haven’t been able to use our backyard for three years, Renaud says. “Our windows haven’t been open for at least two and a half years the noises and the smoke and the smells.”
For example, work around the Lincoln Fields station will contribute to the redevelopment of the former Lincoln Fields Mall that was demolished three years ago, in addition to being home to a new light rail stop.
