Speaking on the conflicting ideologies surrounding Bitcoin, Kotliar stated that there are two opposing sides in this field. They are essentially the average users of Bitcoin and the core community members who have been associated withIn his opinion, one of the factors that differentiate these groups is how they see BTC and interact with it. The average user looks at it as a means of payment on occasions where traditional payment channels are not available.
These ideologies then translate to what the host called Bitcoin users vs the community. According to Sergej Kotliar, these groups do tend to overlap sometimes.
