Flaman, the captain of the Acadia Axemen, and UPEI Panthers forward Carson MacKinnon are hosting a joint fundraiser for multiple sclerosis . They will be collecting donations during the teams’ games Jan. 14 in Wolfville, N.S., and Jan. 28 in Charlottetown, P.E.I., and people can also donate online. “When you go to prep school at such a young age, you build pretty close friendships with people there and Jack was someone that I connected with right away,” MacKinnon said. “He was someone that I looked up to.”
