STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOSNova Scotia Under-18 Major Hockey LeagueValley picked up a shootout win over the UPS Store South Shore Mustangs Jan. 22 in Barrington and a victory over the Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Wolfpack Jan. 21 at the Kings Mutual Century Centre in Berwick.
South Shore led 2-1 after the first period while the game was tied 5-5 after the second and third periods.Will McKinnon, Drew Lutz and Foley each had a goal and an assist against Cole Harbour. William Singer tied the game 5:32 into the third and Rylan Sutherland tallied the winner on the power play with three minutes remaining in regulation. Brady Croft also scored a power-play goal in the win.Caleb Oulton made 25 saves for the win while Carter Aguirre stopped 31 shots in the loss.
