Well-known supporter of the sealing industry, Bernie Halloran, owner of Always in Vogue in St. John's and CEO of Phocalux International Inc., has died.

Halloran worked in the secondary processing of furs and seal skins into luxury garments, boots, purses and other items for over 40 years. "Bernie came to Newfoundland and Labrador decades ago with a bold vision to build a world-class furrier business and garnered massive success due to his extraordinary creativity, work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence," Williams said."On that journey, he also became one of our most passionate advocates for a humane seal harvest."
