Wall Street futures edged higher early Wednesday after comments from Federal Reserve offered few hints about the future course of interest rates. What investors need to know today:

Analysts had been expecting a decline. Distillate stocks were up about 1.1 million barrels for the week.In other commodities, gold prices saw a fourth session of gains early Wednesday morning.
