He’s working his way through his Grade 12 year. He’s contemplating post-secondary options for next year. A 6-foot-4 forward, he’s also finishing off his senior season with the Heritage Woods Kodiaks of Port Moody.

Aidan’s motor skills developed at a normal rate but doctors weren’t certain that he wouldn’t have any learning delays until he was kindergarten.Aidan explained: “I’ve been told the stories. I read the newspaper article. I don’t really remember anything, though.” Andrew splits coaching duties with the two Heritage Woods teams with Mike Parkins, another long-time coach in the district who’s also an elementary school principal at Lord Baden-Powell in Coquitlam.Article content
