The flag gallery is a source of local pride, a symbol of Sault Ste. Marie's commitment to multiculturalism and a tribute to contributions made by people of varying faiths, ethnicities and cultures. "I love driving down this street, seeing all these flags, knowing in my heart that they would grow," Mayor Christian Provenzano said today.
"It's very special to me, as one of my last acts, that I get to add more flags to this way. That is what will need to continue for our community to become strong and prosperous."
