Author Ken MacDonald has donated his ghost story book to help the Donkin Morien Community Association raise money for its playground project.PORT MORIEN, N.S. — The Donkin Morien Community Association is looking to turn screams into laughs as it raises money for a new playground by selling a ghost story book from local author Ken MacDonald.
"I put it together so my five grandchildren would have it for years to come, so it only made sense to donate it to a project that would also benefit them directly." A local expert from the Beaton Institute on the Black Brook Witch will also be speaking during the event.
