27-year-old broke into two sheds in the 300 block of Third Avenue on Nov. 9, 2021, police say; the suspect is now facing breaking, entering and committing charges
Sault Ste. Marie Police Services have arrested and charged a 27-year-old from Bruce Mines in relation to a break-and-enter that occurred in November 2021.
According to police, the officers responded to a break-and-enter in progress in the 300 block of Third Avenue on Nov. 9, 2021. While on the scene, the officers found out that someone broke into two sheds. During the search, the police found property from the sheds nearby; the suspect was not located at that moment. On Jan. 6, 2023, officers attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre, where the accused was in custody on unrelated charges, police say.
