Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome has been fined $5,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced Monday afternoon.
MacKinnon’s second goal of the evening capped off a wild back-and-forth contest in which the Avalanche led 2–0 before the Ducks scored four straight to go up 4–2. Colorado then scored twice in the final eight minutes of regulation to force overtime. As an unrestricted free agent last summer, Strome signed a five-year, $5 million AAV contract with the Ducks on July 13, 2022. The six-foot-one center, who shoots right, has 15 goals and 40 points in 80 games with the Ducks this season.
