67-year-old taxi driver plans to save for retirement and share winnings with her children
Barbara Middleton, a 67-year-old taxi driver, purchased the winning ticket at Mics Kwik Way on Causley Street in Blind River.Barbara Middleton of Algoma Mills has $165,951.40 to put toward her dreams after winning a Lotto Max second prize in the Feb. 14, 2023 draw.
On her drive home, Barbara called her sons to tell them her good news. “They had tears in their eyes – they were so happy. I bought this on Valentine’s Day so it’s extra meaningful.”
