“We regret every life lost and our hearts go out to every bereaved family,” the statement said. “We’ve worked from the start to minimize the harm from COVID while at the same time working to minimize the harm from public health measures.” The latest figures also reported an additional 1,461 cases over the seven-day period, bringing the total number of cases reported in Alberta to 612,693.
