A man is facing charges after receiving sexual services from someone in Durham and then refusing to pay.
Durham police began their investigation in February, after learning about a man who had communicated with a sex professional working within the region. They say he had arranged to meet with her for the purpose of receiving sexual services and, after meeting, they had sexual intercourse.During the investigation, one other woman came forward and reported two similar incidents involving the same man.
Janarthanan Sathianathan, 32, of Ajax is charged with theft under $5000 x 3 and obtaining sexual services for consideration x 3.
