The UK Labour Party is facing a deepening crisis as its leader, Keir Starmer, faces calls to step down and several ministers have resigned. The latest resignations came after the announcement of two ministers, Jess Phillips and Metya van Buuren, who resigned from their posts, urging Starmer to set a timeline for his departure. The crisis comes after the party's poor performance in local elections and growing criticism of Starmer's leadership.
